I recently went to Penrith to do some photography for Kristy who is the Cumbria rep for Simply Bows & Chair Covers . Also there was Jo from a brand new business called Teacups & Pearls and they provided the stunning table decorations. Rachel and Sam engagement shoot – DoubleTree by Hilton – Chester

In August I’ll be photographing Rachel and Sam’s Wedding at the DoubleTree by Hilton in Chester. Really looking forward to it, so to get us all in the mood we met there in December for an engagement shoot. There was a bit of snow on the ground so Rachel did well to brave the outdoors in the thinest dress I have seen. At their wedding they’re hoping for better weather and are planning on have some games in the garden of the hotel. It’ll also be my first Monday wedding.

October in the Cotswolds

Sneak Peek – Chris and Jenny – Northop Hall Country House Hotel

Chris and Jenny got married on Saturday in Flintshire. The ceremony was at a beautiful Norman church in Northop with the reception afterwards at Northop Hall Country House Hotel. Here’s a sneak peek of one of the shots from their big day.

Jenny and Mark’s engagement shoot – Knutsford

Jenny and Mark are getting married in Cheshire next year. For their engagement shoot they decided they wanted to go to Knutsford, which is where they met. Engagement shoots are a great way to get comfortable in front of the camera and get to know your photographer better. It helps make your wedding photography run much smoother as well as you’re far more relaxed.

I thought I knew Knutsford pretty well but when I went for a look round in preparation for this engagement photography I found so many new and interesting roads, alleyways and doorways which I thought would make great backdrops to the photos.

That’s the thing about Cheshire, since moving here I’ve found so many amazing places to take photographs and such pretty villages and towns. It’s hard not to love it.

Jenny and Mark are getting married in Grappenhall and they were such natural models I can’t wait to take the photographs at their wedding.

The beauty of pre-wedding photographs, engagement shoots, couple shots or whatever you want to call them is that you can be much more relaxed as you’ve got loads of time. Sometimes things can be a bit rushed during your wedding photography so here we had chance to play around with some different styles.

Now J&M have seen a few different ways of editing the pictures they can give me a really good idea of what sort of style they would like for their wedding photography on the big day in Cheshire next year.
